Overview
Aldarin is a coastal city in southern Varlamore with a few features that make it worth the trip. It’s home to Mastering Mixology, the Herblore minigame, and has the closest bank to a shop that sells wine. There’s also a gem store where you can buy, cut, and sell gems back for a profit, and the city is the setting for the Death on the Isle quest, which rewards the costume needle. Below are the four main ways to get there, whatever your account progress.
How to Get to Aldarin
1. Charter Ship
Using a Charter Ship to get to Aldarin doesn’t have any requirements. It will cost anywhere from 600–4,500 gp depending on where you board. Head to any charter ship location across Gielinor (such as Port Phasmatys, Catherby, or Port Khazard) and pay the fee to sail directly to Aldarin. It costs more than other methods, but the lack of requirements makes it the universal fallback.
2. Sunset Cove
If Charter Ships are too rich for your blood, head to Sunset Cove, southwest of Civitas illa Fortis. Go to the westernmost dock and travel with Antonia, who charges just 20 gp for a ride to Aldarin — by far the cheapest option.
3. Quetzal Transportation System
If you have access to the Quetzal Transportation System (requires completion of Twilight’s Promise), taking your Quetzal to Aldarin is probably the quickest method. The landing site is already built, so you’ll have access immediately. A Hunter whistle will put you right next to a Quetzal to take you over.
4. Fairy Rings
Fairy Rings are also one of the fastest ways to reach Aldarin if you have access to them (partial completion of Fairy Tale Part II). The code is CKQ, and the ring sits near the center of the island.
