Overview
Ice gloves allow you to handle hot and heat-based items barehanded without taking damage. They’re required or handy in quests like Recipe for Disaster and Heroes’ Quest, and essentially required at the Blast Furnace and Giants’ Foundry, as well as for catching infernal eels. Kill the Ice Queen once and you’re set for good.

Location
To reach the Ice Queen, you’ll first navigate a short “maze” beneath White Wolf Mountain. The quickest way there is a gnome glider; if you don’t have glider access, you can also reach it from Catherby or Falador.
How to Get Ice Gloves
Bring a pickaxe along with the combat gear, food, and potions you’ll need for the level 111 Ice Queen. Throughout the dungeon you’ll also have to dodge ice warriors, ice giants, and ice spiders, so lower-level players should keep Protect from Melee on for the whole trip.
Once you arrive at the entrance, right-click and mine the rocks to get inside.
After mining through, follow the path east and take the southernmost ladder down.
Down in the cave, head west and go up the ladder. Here’s a map of the full cave so you can check you’re on the right track.
After climbing up, take the easternmost ladder back down into the cave. Ice giants patrol these ladders, so be careful.
Work your way around the cave, following the path while avoiding the monsters. Take the ladder up, then the single ladder back down.
Head north and you’ll find the Ice Queen. She’s surrounded by ice warriors, so you may need to run around a little and shake their aggro before you can attack her.
The Ice Queen attacks only with melee, so with Protect from Melee up you’ll take no damage from her. She’s weak to magic, especially fire spells, and can also be poisoned. If you’d rather play it safe, you can safespot her behind the stalagmites in the eastern part of the cave. Once she dies, she drops a pair of ice gloves — and you can grab as many pairs as you like.
